I randomly chose markdown for my blog. It’s nice but I can’t really tell the difference between it and textile and other make-things-bold-without-typing-comparison-operators thing.
Both textile and markdown seem to have the same level of citizenship and support in both WordPress and Textmate. My choice of markdown is probably just as well thought out as yours, but I do prefer its name. I wonder if they had considered ‘mellowtext’ as a potential moniker…
Speaking of blogs, I’ve set my travel blog up: unger.vox.com. We’ll be heading out in a couple of weeks. First, we’ll be driving up to Seattle to drop off Patty’s car with her sister. Hopefully, we’ll finally be able to connect!
